“Morphing a flood control project into a major new town amenity [the new downtown park] was the brainchild of Colbert. One of Marin’s top-tier council members, he had the long-term strategic vision to realize a flood remediation project could simultaneously be the genesis of a more consumer friendly downtown.” Dick Spotswood: San Anselmo on right track with reimagined Creek Park, Marin IJ
A PROVEN, EXPERIENCED LEADER FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Since being elected to Town Council in 2017, I have had the privilege of advocating for the priorities and values of our community. I am seeking re-election to Town Council because of my proven track record of accessibility, building relationships across a broad spectrum of constituents, and bringing important and diverse perspectives and balance to our Council.
I will continue to help our community address the many concerns brought on by COVID-19 by focusing on our community’s health, common sense oversight, fiscal planning and responsive local government during this unprecedented public health and economic crisis.
My priorities include pedestrian and bike safety, improving the downtown experience for everyone, especially families, on San Anselmo Avenue, helping our restaurants thrive and continuing to build a compelling vision for our historic downtown and its economic vibrancy using the principles of sustainability and bending the climate curve. I remain committed to open space, fire preparedness and to our strong local schools, including Wade Thomas Elementary, where my daughter is a student.
I commit to being a strong advocate for you and respectfully ask for your vote.
Vice Mayor, Town of San Anselmo
